1. Who we are

Tazer is run by its developers, who decide how the data described here is used. For anything about privacy, contact us in the app, or through our Telegram bot @TazerIOBot.

2. What we collect

  • Telegram identity: your Telegram numeric ID, your Telegram username, and whatever else Telegram passes to us when you sign in.
  • Account data: the username you choose, your avatar, your invite code, who invited you, your join date, your PIN (stored only as a one-way hash) and PIN security events such as failed attempts and lockouts.
  • Technical data: the IP address of your last visit, when you were last seen, and the session data needed to keep you signed in.
  • Wallet data: your public addresses and your wallet names, folders and settings. We also store the private keys of the wallets you create or import in Tazer, in order to sign the transactions you ask for (see the Terms, section 3).
  • Activity data: your coins, launches, trades, funding orders, withdrawals, collects, fees, referral earnings and claims, and the transactions that make them up.
  • Agent data: your agent keys, stored in a form that cannot be read back, and their scopes, limits and expiry. We also keep a log of every call made with each key, including the notes the agent sends.
  • Content you upload, such as coin names, tickers, descriptions, images and links.
  • Messages you send to our support team or the Telegram bot.

We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or government ID. Exchanges that fund your wallets may ask for these under their own policies.

3. Why we use it, and our legal bases

  • To provide Tazer: signing you in, holding your wallets, running the actions you ask for, charging fees and paying referral rewards. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
  • To keep Tazer and your account secure: the PIN, lockouts, fraud and abuse detection, and investigating incidents. Legal basis: our legitimate interests, and legal obligation where it applies.
  • To meet legal duties: sanctions screening, responding to lawful requests, and keeping records. Legal basis: legal obligation.
  • To support you and to improve Tazer. Legal basis: our legitimate interests.
  • To send you alerts, approvals and service messages in Telegram. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests. You can mute or block the bot at any time.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not profile you for marketing, and we do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Blockchain data is public and permanent

Everything you do on chain, including your wallet addresses, balances, transactions and the coins you launch, along with their names, images and metadata, is public, can be seen by anyone, and cannot be deleted by us or anyone else. Others may link your addresses to each other or to you. The rights described below cannot apply to data that is on chain.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers that run Tazer for us under contract: app hosting (Vercel), our API servers, blockchain RPC and infrastructure providers, and Telegram for sign-in and messages.
  • Services you ask us to use: the exchanges and swap services that fund your wallets (such as ChangeNOW, FixedFloat, SideShift, Bybit and the Husher aggregator) receive your deposit details, the destination addresses and the amounts. Launchpads, DEXes and public storage (IPFS and Arweave) receive your transactions and coin metadata.
  • Authorities, courts and advisers, where the law requires it or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
  • A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or reorganised, under this policy.

6. International transfers

Our servers and providers operate in several countries, including the United States. Your data may be processed outside the country you live in, where data protection law may differ. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

7. How long we keep it

We keep account and activity data for as long as your account is open, and afterwards only as long as we need it for security, disputes and our legal duties. Private keys are deleted from our systems when you delete the wallet or close your account, after a short period to allow for backups to expire. Agent call logs are kept while the key's account exists, so you can review what a key did.

8. Security

We protect your data with measures including encryption in transit, restricted access, hashed PINs and agent keys, a PIN gate on money leaving and on key export, and the masking of sensitive screens. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that your data will never be accessed without authorisation. If a breach puts you at risk, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to:

  • access your data and get a copy of it
  • correct it
  • delete it
  • restrict or object to how we use it
  • take it with you (portability)
  • withdraw consent, where we rely on consent
  • know what we collect and how we share it, and opt out of any sale or sharing (we do neither)
  • not be treated differently for using these rights

To make a request, contact us in the app, or through our Telegram bot @TazerIOBot, from the Telegram account linked to your Tazer account, so that we can verify it is you. We will reply within the time the law allows. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Cookies and local storage

We use one strictly necessary cookie, which keeps you signed in. It is httpOnly and first-party. We store your theme, preferences, selected chain, drafts and trading presets in your browser's local storage, so the app remembers them on this device. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies or scripts. Clearing your browser's storage resets these settings and signs you out.

11. Children

Tazer is for adults only (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has used Tazer, contact us and we will close the account.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, tell you in the app or through the bot. Questions: contact us in the app, or through our Telegram bot @TazerIOBot.
